If you have never heard of MOPS … well, where have you been? It was a friend to me when my children were little and as they grew I even did some speaking for local group meetings. I learned lots of good stuff from MOPS.
But then my children got older and were no longer “P’s” (Preschoolers), and then they became “T’s” (Tweens/Teens) and where am I to go for good information? I have found the place: MomProps. What MOPS is to moms of “little bitties,” MomProps is to moms of tweens and teens. I am very excited about what these godly moms have to share with others about raising teens in today’s world.
MomProps began in 2000 as MOTS (Mothers of Teens) with a group of 40 women. Now they have groups in Arizona and Texas and are looking to grow by starting a website. I hope you will help me get the word out about this exciting ministry. Do you know a mom who needs MomProps? Someone to come alongside her to encourage and guide as she navigates her tween and teen through a world that is pushing them to grow up too fast, in a very dangerous fast lane?
I hope you’ll take the time to visit the MomProps site and tell others about this exciting ministry. And hey, maybe you would like to start a MomProps group in your own community. If you do, let me know about it and we’ll feature you in a post right here on MomLife Today.

WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA! I WISH THERE WAS ONE NEAR ME!!!
Thank you for this! Even though I'm not in the US, the website is wonderful and supportive. Thank you!
Alright, Tracey. When are you starting a group and can I come!
Hi Tracy,
We have recently updated the MomProps website. Address is http://www.momprops.com. There is an interactive blog on it and also a way for anyone to get information and help in starting their own class. Questions can also be asked and addressed there.
I know this is a very late reply! Hope someone reads it! Jana
MomProps is always looking for leaders who are willing to facilitate a class in their home. These classes are for parent training from a biblical viewpoint.. Radio programs featuring Dennis and Barbara Rainey have been packaged into two CD sets: The Hidden Traps of Adolescence and The Deadly Traps of Adolescence and this is our curriculum. However, the structured two hour session built around each CD topic is explained on the MomProps website (www.momprops.com) and you can contact us through the website with questions.
Let us know if we can help you set up a class where you live.
