In early 2008 God laid on the heart of a stay at home mom the need for a Blog made up of a group of women with children of varied ages and needs. This mom started talking to other women she knew who had a heart for supporting moms and in June 2008 FamilyLife MomBlog was launched. This group of moms went about sharing their lives and their hearts with women all over the world and changed lives began to happen and a community was born.

As social media began to expand and change a new dream surfaced, of a website that could use all forms of social media to speak into the lives of moms and give the community of FamilyLife MomBlog a platform for sharing their voice with others. Welcome to the realized dream of these “real life moms”- MomLife Today, an outreach of FamilyLife – where you are invited to pause, connect and share your life with other women just like you, who use their lives to pour into their families, communities and other mom lives around the world.

At MomLife Today you will enjoy community with real moms experiencing every age and every stage of MomLife—right alongside you.

Moms need friends we can walk through life with, but more importantly we need friends who will encourage us and equip us in our role as moms in an honest and transparent way … and that’s just what you’ll find by becoming part of our MomLife Today community! We believe that every MOMent counts!

We admit it, being a mom 24/7 is not easy. Rather than lament the role of motherhood, however, we choose to embrace that role and learn from each other how to make it through each day with the right attitude. Come share the joys, sorrows, insanity, and special moments of motherhood with us as we live it and candidly write about it…we’ll have lots of fun along the way!
